Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been riding high on the success of his blockbuster films Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. After having a successful year, he continued the streak in 2024. He continued to garner love and attention from the netizens, for celebrating the victory of his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders, and his continued appearances at all of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding ceremonies. However, as fans awaited an official announcement of his upcoming projects, he also experienced a few setbacks. It was back in May, while he was in Ahmedabad for an IPL match, that he was hospitalised due to a heat stroke.

A new report by Bollywood Hungama states that the actor is in need of medical assistance yet again. The actor is reportedly set to fly to the US on Tuesday. The report adds that he had undergone an eye treatment at a Mumbai hospital on Monday, however, it didn’t go as planned. He will reportedly be rushed to a hospital in the US to rectify the damage. Quoted by the Hindustan Times, a source close to the actor told the entertainment portal, “Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) had gone to a hospital in Mumbai on Monday, July 29 for an eye treatment. The treatment didn’t go as planned. SRK is now being rushed to the USA to rectify the damage.” ALSO READ: WHAT! It is to be noted, that only a little is known about the treatment Khan underwent and what exactly went wrong. Fans are awaiting an official update from the actor’s team.


On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan returned to the big screen with a bang in 2023 and starred in Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki, which turned out to be blockbuster hits at the box office. The actor is yet to announce his next project. If reports are to be believed, he will be collaborating with his daughter Suhana Khan for an upcoming film ‘The King.’ He will also star in YRF’s spy universe with Tiger VS Pathaan and Pathaan 2. Netizens are waiting for him to officially announce his next projects.
